This is an easy dinner that serves about 4 hungry people. Plenty of carbs to keep you going on your camping trip.
  • 1 Lb Hamburger
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 2 12-Oz. cans of Tomato Juice
  • 1 Box of Elbow Noodles
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • pepper
  1. In a large pot, boil 2 quarts of water and cook the pasta until almost al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot (you can usually use the same one as the noodles were cooked in) heat the cooking oil until shimmering
  3. Add the Hamburger and cook over medium heat until the hamburger is browned.
  4. Add the onion and pepper and cook until the onion is translucent.
  5. Mix in the noodles and one can of tomato juice
  6. Use the other can to adjust the consistency. It should not be soupy but also not too dry.
  7. Heat through
