Camper Dale

Camper Dale is an experienced camper who has taken camping trips to the Georgia mountains, the Appalachian Trail, the Maine North Woods and many points in between. He has also paddled the entire length of the Erie Canal. He started camping as a Boy Scout and has been taking on the outdoors ever since. He tries to plan one large camping trip per year sprinkled with weekend camping in between. He enjoys fishing every chance he gets. He’s a “make do” kind of cheapskate, but creative, camper. He’d rather recycle an old coffee can into something useful than buy a similar functioned item at the camping store. So his gear looks a little like what you’d expect to see at a hobo camp. He can bake a cake in the wilderness and light a fire with wet wood. He can paddle a canoe all day long and carry a loaded backpack all the way from the car to the campsite.
